Nomination Procedure for Studies
Who Can Nominate?
Only the Erasmus+/ARTEMIS or IRO Offices of partner universities may nominate students.
How to Nominate:
Partner universities must complete and email the nomination Excel file to:

Deadlines:
Autumn Semester or Full Year: 15 June
Spring Semester: 30 November
Only students who meet the minimum English language proficiency (B2 CEFR) will be accepted.
Official acceptance is confirmed via email from the UoI IRO.
Application Procedure for Studies (Nominated Students)
After receiving your acceptance, email the following documents to:

English language certificate (or official university confirmation of proficiency)
Online Learning Agreement (OLA) submitted via EWP Dashboard
Transcript of Records from home university
Completed Student Form (electronically filled, not handwritten)
Passport or ID copy
Passport-size photo
Pdf copy of European Health Insurance Card or private insurance
The Learning Agreement must be submitted online via EWP Dashboard, as an OLA (not in PDF or printed form). Further guidance can be provided by your home university.
Nomination & Application for Placements

Contact relevant UoI departments or faculty members directly.
If provisionally accepted, forward the response to: kakouri@uoi.gr
Your home university IRO must then nominate you by sending the nomination Excel file.

Students may cancel their application at any time. An official email notification is required:

Housing Information
Who Can Apply:
Only officially nominated study or placement mobility students may apply for university housing.

Housing Details:
Private room, furnished, private bathroom, internet, weekly cleaning
Free use of laundry room and shared kitchen
Single Room: €120/month
Double Room: €100/month/person
Limited availability (~30 rooms/year). Offered first-come, first-served based on nomination date.
Housing is available:
1st Semester: 1 Oct – 8 Feb
2nd Semester: 15 Feb – end of June
Payment:
Must prepay full semester (or full year).
Full-year students may pay in two installments (1st and 2nd semester).
Internship/Placement Students:
May apply for the DIKEPPEE Guest House (different rate applies). Contact: dikeppee.accom@uoi.gr
Students studying at the campuses of Arta or Preveza (Agriculture, Music Studies, Informatics & Telecommunications, Accounting & Finance): contact Departmental Coordinators for housing.

Re-sit Exams: September (not applicable to Erasmus+ students unless agreed with home university)

Students in Arta or Preveza must contact their Departmental Coordinators or the IRO officer (kakouri@uoi.gr).
Language Requirements
Greek (B1): Suggested only for studies in Philology
English (B2 recommended): For all other fields, especially Master-level courses
Medicine: English B2 or Greek B1

Course Selection & Departments
Students are nominated for specific departments, representing subject areas as per the inter-institutional agreement.
Course selection must align with the host department.
Cross-department course selection is allowed in exceptional cases and must be approved by the departments involved. In any case, the majority of the courses selected by the student should come from the host UoI Department (with which the home University has set up an Erasmus agreement).
Student Restaurant
Free meals (3 daily) with student card (“passo”):
Breakfast: 07:30 – 09:30
Lunch: 11:30 – 15:00
Dinner: 18:00 – 21:00
Restaurant is closed during Christmas, Easter, and mid-July to August.

Erasmus Student Network (ESN):
Upon Arrival
Pick up your dorm key (check email instructions from the Housing Office).
Contact IRO (kakouri@uoi.gr) to confirm arrival and receive orientation.
Register at your department’s Secretariat to apply for:
Academic ID (“passo”)
Library access
Sports facilities
Student meals
Meet your Departmental Erasmus+ Coordinator
Confirm or change your Online Learning Agreement (if needed)
Learning Agreement changes must be completed within one month of arrival and submitted via EWP Dashboard.
Additionally, send a fully signed copy of the modified Learning Agreement to kakouri@uoi.gr.
Failure to do so may result in incorrect Transcripts of Records and funding issues.
End of Stay
Steps to Follow:
Five (5) days before your confirmed departure, request your online Certificate of Departure from: kakouri@uoi.gr
Should you require a hard copy (as per the instructions of your home University, you need to request it 10 days before your confirmed departure)Send your last day of academic activity and a copy of your departure ticket
We will not sign Departure Certificates earlier than one week before departure
We cannot issue certificates if:
You owe books to the Library
You have unsettled housing payments
Transcript of Records (ToR)
Grades may take several weeks to be released (up to 5 weeks, as per the ii-agreements signed with partner Universities)
The IRO sends the ToR directly to your home university, cc’ing the student
ToRs are issued within 5 weeks of the exam period’s end
No mid-year ToRs for full-year students
